Consciousness and Rationality

Consciousness and rationality are seemingly similar but have different meanings and scopes. Consciousness is the ability to comprehend things or surroundings in a manner that you are able to grasp the understanding of the world and individuals. It is awareness of the world in simple words. Rationality is based on the logic that everything has to have a basis and grounding that roots any idea. Every idea has its grounding whether it is a natural Consciousness and rationality or human reasoning toward the environment and other individuals. Both concepts of consciousness and rationality have one aspect in common which is aware of their surroundings.

Consciousness guides individuals in their response to the environment. Consciousness has the ability to comprehend every aspect, that is not usually predicated or unexpected. For example, the universe is so diverse human mind through consciousness explores unknown facts. For example, different theories on planets were tested regarding the discovery of new celestial bodies in space. It is a sense of individuals towards their environment.

Rationality has reasoning anything that occurs it is due to some reason. Rationality is the process of understanding the world through facts and how different processes work. For example, rain occurs when water droplets go through different steps from the evaporation of water vapors to getting condensed in the sky to form clouds and when the density of clouds increase and presume of wind is low starts to pour water droplets in rain. Rational thoughts have different stages and processes to understand any concept.

Consciousness and rationality are used to study different phenomena around us. Rationality has its own utility and drawbacks to explain different aspects of humans and the universe. Likewise, consciousness is intuitive and involves other methods to explain different concepts regarding humans and their environment. Some concepts are explained through a rational approach and others are through consciousness that has its own limitations.

Melting Glaciers in Antarctic Region

Satellite images show the 1,200sq km (463sq miles) Conger Ice Shelf collapsed completely in March. According to studies by scientists, the large chunks of ice attached to the land acts as a buffer to prevent ice from melting and flowing into the ocean increasing the risk of submergence due to a rise in sea level on the land areas. The areas on coastlines are in danger of receding land areas due to the rise in sea levels. The temperature reaching 40C (70F) above normal in parts of East Antarctica, is unusual for the region during this time of the year. Scientists, consider the melting of ice in Antarctica is likely to increase the risk of flooding. The rapid pace of melting of ice has adverse effects on the land adjoining the ocean. Melting of ice is creating an effect Neff described as “a fire hose of moisture phenomenon. The rate of climate change is three times warmer in the Antarctic than in the Arctic Ocean. In the context of factors, first and foremost is the increase in greenhous...
